answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/03/2019 answer text <p>Until the UK leaves the EU, EEA and Swiss citizens currently living in the UK, as well as UK nationals living in other EU Member States, continue to have the same rights and status, and are subject to the same residence requirements under EU law, as was the case before Article 50 was triggered. The agreement that we have reached on citizens’ rights is the only way of fully protecting the rights of all citizens.</p><p>The Prime Minister has been clear that EU citizens resident in the UK by the 29 March will be able to stay and have their rights protected.
