answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/12/2018 answer text <p>The national human papillomavirus vaccination programme for men who have sex with men began on 1 April 2018 with a phased rollout into all sexual health and human immunodeficiency virus clinics across England. A range of resources about the programme to facilitate vaccination uptake were produced for healthcare professionals and clinic attendees. These included clinical and operational guidance, a training slide set and poster, information leaflet and vaccination record card. These resources are available to view at the following link:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/hpv-vaccination-for-men-who-have-sex-with-men-msm-programme" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/hpv-vaccination-for-men-who-have-sex-with-men-msm-programme</a></p><p>The service is now part of the public health functions agreement, and NHS England is monitoring the progress of rollout. There are approximately 233 HIV and sexual health clinics nationally and 151 of these are already offering the programme. NHS England anticipates that rollout will be complete by next year. The honourable Member may find it useful to refer to the answer I gave on 29 October which confirms that preparatory work is underway within the Department of Health in Northern Ireland to allow for the introduction of HPV to boys in Northern Ireland, if and when such a decision is taken by a Health Minister in Northern Ireland.
