<p>On 18 January we laid regulations which will require specified public sector employers,
with at least 250 employees, to report on the gender pay differences of their employees.
The provisions in the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017
have largely been replicated in the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties and Public

</p><p>Subject to Parliamentary approval, these regulations will come into force in
March 2017 and the specified public bodies will need to publish their first set of
gender pay gap data before 30 March 2018. Both sets of regulations will require the
same gender pay gap calculations and use the same methodology for calculating the
data.</p>
