answer text <p>The Government has developed a strong national campaign across all four nations of the UK to provide information and reassurance to the public about COVID-19.</p><p>This is a cross-government campaign involving multiple departments. It is being coordinated centrally by the Cabinet Office who are working closely with the Devolved Administrations, including with the Welsh Government to ensure campaign materials are translated for use in Wales.</p><p>The Cabinet Office publishes expenditure, including on public information campaigns, on a rolling monthly basis on <a href="http://www.gov.uk" target="_blank">gov.uk</a> as part of routine government transparency arrangements.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>One paragraph from the Welsh language version of the Prime Minister’s letter was missing from the hard copies distributed in Wales. This was a result of human error. The online version of the letter has subsequently been updated so that the Welsh language text is complete and additional quality control measures are now in place to prevent this from happening again.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>We are engaging with Welsh businesses and other sectors on a daily basis to learn more about the impact of the crisis on the ground and feed stakeholders’ views back into government policy making. This includes, remotely, one-to-one discussions and group webinars enabling the Secretary of State and I to explain the government’s support schemes.</p><p>This week I have been pleased to join meetings hosted by the Welsh Local Government Association and CBI Wales. Tomorrow, the Secretary of State will join the Business Secretary and Welsh Ministers in hosting a joint web-based business question and answer session.</p> more like this

answer text <p>As of the 18<sup>th</sup> March the UK government has provided the Welsh Government with £1.6 billion of funding to support people, businesses and public services affected by COVID-19.</p><p> </p><p>The funding provided is in addition to the UK-wide support to tackle the impact of COVID-19, such as extending Statutory Sick Pay, making it easier and quicker to access benefits, and providing a Business Interruption Loan Scheme.</p><p> </p><p>The UK government will continue to work closely with the devolved administrations as the situation develops to ensure they have the funding needed to tackle the impacts of COVID-19.</p> more like this
