<p>Effective from 8 June, rules are in place for entering the UK because of COVID-19.
The rules are for residents and visitors. Passengers will need to provide journey
and contact details when travelling to the UK and will not be allowed to leave the
place they are staying for the first 14 days except in very limited situations (known
as self-isolation).</p><p>Seasonal agricultural workers in the edible horticulture
food chain are included on the short list of exemptions from these measures, but will
need to provide details of the farm where they will be staying and remain there for
14 days.</p><p>Should symptomatic passengers be encountered at the Primary Control
Point (PCP) they will be referred to medical professionals for assessment and treatment
as necessary.</p><p>All operational staff have the relevant Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) available to them, along with detailed guidance on how to safely deal with individuals
who display coronavirus symptoms.</p>
