I would refer the noble Lady to the Prime Minister’s statement of 31 January 2022. It would not be appropriate to comment further while the Metropolitan Police Service’s investigation is ongoing. The Government has accepted the Second Permanent Secretary’s general findings in full. Further details will be announced in due course.
