<p>We have long encouraged Turkey to work towards the full protection of fundamental rights, particularly in the area of freedom of expression and we continue to monitor developments on this case closely. We look to Turkey, as a modern democracy, to undertake any legal processes against its citizens fairly, transparently and with full respect for the rule of law.</p>
