oil prices are passed on to lower retail prices. A competitive market is the best
way to keep prices low.</p><p> </p><p>Fuel pricing is subject to UK competition law
under the Competition and Markets Authority, and we do not believe that an independent
body to regulate fuel pricing is necessary.</p><p> </p><p>The Department closely monitors
