<p>The Windsor Framework significantly expands the range of businesses who can benefit
from trusted trader status. Businesses throughout the United Kingdom will now be eligible
- moving away from the previous restrictions that required a physical premises in
Northern Ireland. Criteria for businesses to qualify includes basic record keeping
of goods movements, a good compliance record and no history of serious criminal offences
related to their economic activity. There is no threshold for a business to be eligible
for the scheme.</p>
