<p>The mean and median gender pay gaps for the Civil Service, as of 31 March 2021,
were 7.8% and 8.1%, respectively.</p><p><strong><br></strong>Information on the gender
pay gap in each government department is published annually, as part of Civil Service
Statistics. A detailed breakdown of gender pay gap statistics by department, as of
