These include in relation to religion and belief. We expect them to discharge their responsibilities fully and have robust policies and procedures in place to comply with the law.</p><p>HEPs are also responsible for meeting their legal obligations relating to free speech, and this includes expressing religious views. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/04/2020 answer text <p>Enabling remote working for Members’ staff, Commons staff and shared services staff is a key priority in the Parliamentary Digital Service response to Covid-19.</p><p>One aspect of this focus is the provision of emergency laptops to those who are normally equipped with desktop computers. There is a reasonable laptop stock available, but it should be noted that market supply has been severely disrupted.</p><p>A digital coaching service for Members and their staff has been mobilised to provide help and best practice guidance on working remotely. Parliamentary Digital Service has distributed advice and guidance to all Members and their staff explaining how to access parliamentary services remotely, including from their own personal computers, how to connect to local printers from Parliamentary laptops and optimising the use of Skype for Business. This guidance is being updated daily and extended based on need.</p><p>All services managed by the Digital Service can be accessed remotely from a Parliamentary laptop. There are a few procedural services which require specific additional remote access tools to use. These can be enabled upon request if required. It is not expected that any of the parliamentary services used by most Members and their staff would fall into this category.</p><p>The Digital Service has a three-phase strategy in its response: respond, embed and enhance. The first two are focused on helping users make best use of the parliamentary services. Our retailers already have highly resilient supply chains and they are working around the clock to ensure people have the food and products they need. Industry is adapting quickly to these changes in demands, and we welcome the actions they are taking to support demand for online deliveries, including hiring more staff and prioritising delivery slots for those that need them most.</p><p> </p><p>To help industry respond to this unprecedented demand we have introduced new measures to support online deliveries. We have issued guidance to local authorities to allow extended delivery hours to supermarkets so that shelves can be filled up more quickly, and we have implemented extensions to drivers’ hours. We are also temporarily relaxing certain elements of competition law to ensure retailers are able to collaborate effectively in the national interest, for example by sharing distribution depots and delivery vans.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is working to ensure that up to 1.5 million people in England identified by the NHS as being at higher risk of severe illness if they contract Coronavirus will have access to the food they need. A new Local Support System has been put in place to make sure those individuals self-isolating at home and who are without a support network of friends and family receive basic food and essential supplies. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/05/2020 answer text <p>The Government’s priority is to free up space and resource in hospitals to care for patients affected by COVID-19, and ensure staff have capacity to treat people in need of urgent care.</p><p>The COVID-19 Social Care Action Plan was published on 15 April, to support the adult social care sector in England throughout the coronavirus outbreak, including ramping up testing, overhauling the way personal protective equipment is being delivered to care homes and helping to minimise the spread of the virus to keep people safe.</p><p>We have made £1.3 billion available to National Health Service commissioners to enhance the discharge process. It will cover the follow-on care costs for adults in social care. NHS Discharge Service Requirements were published on 19 March.</p><p> </p><p>In March we provided £1.6 billion to local authorities to help their communities through the crisis.
