answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>Ensuring access to justice is a fundamental principle of the Government and judiciary’s £1bn reform programme to transform our courts and tribunals system. The reform programme aims to expand the ways users can resolve their justice needs, while maintaining and improving traditional methods for those who need them. We are designing the reformed services to be accessible for all, including older users, and to provide users with options on how they can interact with our services as well as access appropriate support, should they need to do so.</p><p> </p><p>Many users will be able to benefit from new digital services and, if needed, will be able to seek telephone or face to face support to help them to use these. This ‘assisted digital’ support is currently in place for the ‘Application’ stage for our reformed services for Divorce, Civil Money Claims, Social Security &amp; Child Support Tribunal, Probate and the Single Justice Service. Campaign group 50:50 Parliament’s #AskHerToStand event asks MPs to mentor a woman from their constituency for the day.</p><p>The Government Equalities Office is also hosting a conference to celebrate the centenary of the Parliament (Qualification of Women) Act on 21 November 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/11/2018 answer text <p>In October the Government announced £50,000 to support two large-scale pollinator projects in Devon and Hampshire and £60,000 of funding to develop and test pollinator habitat mapping and to help voluntary bodies and land managers to create pollinator-friendly landscapes.</p><p> </p><p>We have supported two major events in 2018 to raise awareness of the importance of bees and encourage people to take action. In July, we put on a week-long ‘Bees’ Needs’ event in Carnaby Street (renamed ‘Carnabee’ Street for the week). In November, in collaboration with the Green Flag Award scheme, we organised the Bees’ Needs Champions Awards at Kew Gardens to recognise and celebrate exemplary initiatives undertaken by local authorities, universities, community groups, universities and bee farmers to support bees and other insects.</p><p> </p><p>To improve our understanding of the status of pollinators, we have been funding a new UK-wide Pollinator Monitoring Scheme which will report next year. Following scientific evidence that neonicotinoid pesticides are harmful to bees and other pollinators, all outdoor usage will be withdrawn from 19 December 2018.</p><p> </p><p>To improve honey bee health, we have maintained an extensive programme of advisory visits and training events to improve beekeepers knowledge of bee pests and diseases and good husbandry practices. Early reporting of Asian hornet by beekeepers has been instrumental in enabling us to tackle several outbreaks this year.</p><p> </p><p>These build on the work undertaken, with the invaluable support of a range of partners to the deliver the National Pollinator Strategy for England, published in 2014. We are concerned by the high death toll associated with the 'war on drugs', the situation of land rights and human rights defenders, developments on media freedom, and moves to reintroduce the death penalty.</p><p>Our Embassy in Manila has made these concerns clear with senior officials and government figures and it is in regular contact with human rights groups and relevant UN bodies on a range of human rights issues. We also work closely with the wider international community, including our EU partners, to press for investigations into instances of abuse and to encourage the protection of human rights defenders.</p><p>I raised these issues with a number of Philippine Ministers during my trip to Manila in August 2018 and with the Philippine Ambassador in April 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2018 answer text <p>The British Government remains deeply concerned about the security situation in Libya and strongly condemns any threats or use of force which endanger civilian life or undermine the UN-led political process. We appreciate the recent efforts of UN Special Representative Ghassan Salamé to establish a ceasefire in Tripoli, and are supportive of the creation of the Security Arrangements Committee, which aims to develop more sustainable security arrangements in the capital.</p><p>On 12-13 November I represented the United Kingdom at the Palermo conference on Libya hosted by the Italian Prime Minister. The conference demonstrated broad support for Ghassan Salamé’s recalibrated action plan to achieve progress on the political, security and economic tracks in Libya. In particular, Ghassan Salamé intends to convene a broad-based Libyan National Conference in Libya in early 2019, in order to work out a way forward with all Libya's stakeholders and pave the way to elections. The UK is clear that there can be no military solution to the conflict in Libya. The only way of achieving security and stability is through an inclusive political settlement.
