answer text <p>The minimum legal age for most forms of gambling in Great Britain is 18. This applies to adult gaming centres, betting shops, bingo halls, casinos, race tracks and online gambling.</p><p>All gambling operators offering gambling services to people in Great Britain must have a licence from the Gambling Commission, and must have effective policies and procedures designed to prevent underage gambling.</p><p>All online gambling operators must have robust age verification controls.</p><p>The Gambling Commission has a range of powers to act where there is a failure to prevent underage gambling. These include powers to suspend or revoke a licence, impose financial penalties or launch criminal action.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department for Transport does not routinely hold information on the annual average speeds of freight trains.</p><p> </p><p>Data regarding average speeds of freight trains is available from Network Rail, as the infrastructure manager for the national network. Network Rail’s Freight Network Study, published in April 2017, included some analysis which looked at average line speeds and potential capability enhancements to reduce journey times.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We continue to encourage the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other agencies to respond more effectively to the cholera outbreak in Yemen.</p><p>The current cholera outbreak in Yemen is the fastest-spreading on record. According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the majority of those affected are children. As of October 2017, 56% of the 862,858 suspected cases affect children under 18, and 26% affect children under 5.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Hate Crime Action Plan was launched in July 2016. This plan sets out a range of non-legislative responses including counter-narrative activity and collaborative work with the Internet industry to identify ways to reduce the harm caused by hate crime online.</p><p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) are consulting on introducing a social media code of practice as part of the Internet Safety Strategy which was published on 11 October. As laid out in the Digital Economy Act 2017, the code will seek to ensure that providers offer adequate online safety policies, introduce minimum standards and metrics and ensure regular review and monitoring.</p><p> </p><p>Government will continue to consult with stakeholders in the technology industry on the details of the code of practice before its introduction in 2018.</p> more like this
