The funding provided through the second Road Investment Strategy (RIS2) enables National Highways to maintain and operate a safe SRN across the country that underpins the economy and directly and indirectly benefits its users and local communities. Individual schemes have the potential to support levelling up across England, as does the deployment of National Highways designated funds programme. The designated funds programme includes the Users and Communities Fund, which works to better integrate the SRN with the major road network and roads managed by local authorities. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/01/2022 answer text <p>National Highways is implementing a programme of measures around the country to improve air quality at specific locations on the Strategic Road Network (SRN). Most of the information that is available through the scheme can be found on the DBS website. Alternatively, it may be provided upon request.</p><p>The publication scheme was established in accordance with Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and in accordance with guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).</p><p>DBS revised their publication scheme in March 2021 to ensure it is in line with DBS published performance standards. Police Performance is a subset of enhanced DBS check data, it does not have a separate DBS public service standard, and has been removed from the publication scheme.
