answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/04/2020 answer text <p>School leaders, teachers and support staff are central to the country’s response to coronavirus (COVID-19) and we thank them wholeheartedly for their support at this difficult time.</p><p>It is important to underline that schools remain safe places for children and staff. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/04/2020 answer text <p>Statutory Sick Pay is paid by employers not from the public purse.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has introduced a rebate scheme reimbursing small-medium enterprises (less than 250 employees) for up to two weeks of SSP per employee due to COVID-19. The Government estimates that nearly 2 million employers will be eligible for this rebate.
