answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/11/2018 answer text <p>Nationally, funding for children with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) has risen by £1 billion since 2013 to 2014, to just under £6 billion in 2018 to 2019, and will rise to over £6 billion in 2019 to 2020.</p><p>We are aware of local authorities reporting concerns about the costs of supporting children with SEND. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/12/2018 answer text <p>The Government published the <em>Strengthened Local Enterprise Partnerships</em> review on 24<sup>th</sup> July, which brought forward reforms to leadership, governance, accountability, financial reporting and geographical boundaries. Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs) are public and private partnerships between local authorities, businesses and other key partners. This sets out our expectations around the active role of local authorities in providing a strong and direct link back to local people, and that local authorities continue to be a central part of each LEP’s democratic accountability.
