Thanks to a £15m extension to the programme, 3,000 more young people will complete placements before the end of next year.</p><p> </p><p>As we continue with our ambitious redesign, funding details beyond next year have not been confirmed. The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is the independent body responsible for developing authoritative, evidence-based guidance for the National Health Service on whether drugs and other treatments represent an effective use of NHS resources.
