answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/09/2018 answer text <p>Since issuing the guidance of 29 June 2015 HMRC has seen changes in the way the Employment Allowance has been abused. HMRC undertakes a wide range of targeted compliance interventions, including where appropriate referrals for criminal prosecution, to address any abuse of the Employment Allowance. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/09/2018 answer text <p>Speaking up and raising concerns should be routine in business in the National Health Service and is a key part of ensuring patient safety and improving the quality of services. The NHS should support and welcome all staff to raise concerns wherever they spot them, without prejudice to any personal feelings regarding those speaking up.</p><p> </p><p>NHS Improvement has developed the national integrated whistleblowing policy, which acts as a minimum standard for NHS trusts, and has been designed so as to minimise the chance of personal feelings influencing the way that people who speak up are treated.</p><p> </p><p>The National Guardian’s Office has advised the Department that all NHS trusts are required to have a Freedom to Speak Up Guardian to provide safe, consistent, person-centred support for speaking up, whether the individual would qualify for protection under the law or not. Freedom to Speak Up Guardians are trained by the National Guardian’s Office to support all individuals equally. They also work within their organisation to improve all aspects of speaking up so that individuals receive the same quality of support irrespective of the route that they use.</p><p> </p><p>Their training also routinely includes an assessment of their organisation’s speaking up / whistleblowing policies so that aspects of policies that may act as a barrier to speaking up are identified and changed.</p> answering member constituency Gosport answering member printed Caroline Dinenage question first answered 04/09/2018 16:14:45 answering member 4008 label Biography information for Dame Caroline Dinenage

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/09/2018 answer text <p>Indicator 5.c.1 is a non-statistical global indicator to monitor global progress toward Target 5c, which calls on Member States to ‘adopt and strengthen sound policies and enforceable legislation for the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls at all levels’.</p><p> </p><p>The UK’s Office for National Statistics is responsible for providing UK data on the global indicators to the UN for its annual progress reporting.</p><p> </p><p>This Government has adopted many programmes and policies that address Target 5c, including the introduction of gender pay gap reporting regulations, increasing flexible working opportunities, promoting shared parental leave and implementing a strategy to prevent violence against women and girls.</p><p> </p><p>The Government will be reporting on its progress towards implementing Sustainable Development Goal 5 as part of the UK’s Voluntary National Review in 2019.</p> answering member constituency Louth and Horncastle answering member printed Victoria Atkins question first answered 07/09/2018 15:06:42 answering member 4399 label Biography information for Victoria Atkins

Member for Oxford East, whether the statement that the Government wants to support all landlords to offer longer tenancies where they are wanted means that it is the Government's policy that local authorities will be provided with the flexibility to retain secure tenancies as standard in local Tenancy Strategies under the responsibilities conveyed by the Housing and Planning Act 2016.
