These costs are taken into account in setting the level of the weekly cash allowance provided to destitute asylum seekers to meet their essential living needs.</p><p> </p><p>The level of the cash allowance is reviewed each year and the review takes account of the cost of sanitary products. Evidence and submissions were invited from relevant external stakeholders to inform the most recent review. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/12/2017 answer text <p>At the Joint Ministerial Council on 28-29 November, the Minister for the Overseas Territories (OTs), Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, and leaders of the OTs welcomed progress made by those OTs with financial services centres in implementing the arrangements set out in the Exchange of Notes on exchange of beneficial ownership information. They committed, where not already achieved, to expedite work to ensure that the new systems were fully operational and populated.</p><p>​Foreign and Commonwealth Office officials also recently discussed progress on the establishment of beneficial ownership systems with representatives of the Governments of Anguilla, the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) and Montserrat. We are finalising with the Government of Anguilla a Memorandum of Understanding on the terms for the provision of UK support for the establishment of their beneficial ownership system. TCI Representatives have confirmed that their Financial Services Commission is at the testing stage for its new central register.</p><p>Representatives of Montserrat have confirmed that a Bill requiring legal entities to hold beneficial ownership information and to submit it for inclusion in Montserrat's existing public central register will have its first reading in Montserrat's Legislative Assembly on 19 December 2017. We intend to secure the right outcome for the UK research base as we exit the European Union.</p><p>The Joint report from the negotiators of the European Union and the United Kingdom Government published on 8 December stated that UK entities’ right to participate in EU programmes will be unaffected by the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. This means that UK based organisations and individuals will be able to bid for funding, participate in and lead consortia, in 2019 and 2020, and will continue to receive funding for the lifetime of the project.</p><p>It remains the case that nothing is agreed until everything is agreed, which is why the Government’s underwrite guarantee remains in place. UK businesses and universities should continue to bid for competitive EU funds while we remain a member of the EU and we will work with the Commission to ensure payment when funds are awarded. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/12/2017 answer text <p>Accountability for academy trusts is founded on a clear framework communicated and regulated by the Education Skills Funding Agency (EFSA), with effective oversight and compliance based on proportionate risk assessment, and robust intervention to help trusts reach a stronger position when things go wrong. Where there is a risk to public funds, the ESFA will intervene in a way that is proportionate to the risk and preserves the effective education of children. When the ESFA intervenes, it publishes financial notices to improve. This scheme should include a provision that allows the authority to issue a notice of concern to any of its maintained schools. The notice is separate from LA’s powers to withdraw financial delegation, where withdrawal is the most appropriate action.
