Through this consultation, the Government wants to explore how best to support local authorities to mitigate the impacts of certain measures on local businesses, residents and those travelling into towns and cities to work. Earliest data is available for September 2009.</p><p> </p><p>There has been no reduction in the number of nurses and midwives in the English NHS since September 2009.
