answer text <p>It is up to local authorities to decide how to organise and commission services from children’s centres in their areas. They are best placed to understand local needs and the different ways they can be supported locally. Local authorities must demonstrate that they have devised ways to ensure that services continue; what matters is the quality and impact of services, and how local needs are being supported.</p><p> </p><p>We are clear in statutory guidance that there is a presumption against closure, and local authorities have a duty to consult where changes are planned to local children’s centre provision.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies (PVSC) Act 2011 provides for the number of constituencies to be reduced from 650 to 600 and the Government remains committed to equalising the size of constituencies in order to make votes of more equal value. The Government will outline its plans for constituency boundaries when it responds to the Political and Constitutional Reform Committee’s report, <em>What next on the redrawing of parliamentary constituency boundaries?</em>, in due course.</p><p> </p><p>The Boundary Commissions are due to commence work on their next reviews of Parliamentary constituencies in spring 2016 in order to submit final reports by 1 October 2018. If approved, the new constituencies would take effect at the next General Election.</p> more like this

However, there is still room for improvement.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>NHS England has launched the National Diabetes Footcare Audit (a new module to be incorporated into the National Diabetes Audit) which will enable all diabetes foot care services to measure their performance against NICE clinical guidelines and peer units.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>According to the National Diabetes Inpatient Audit, in 2011, 58.3% of trusts had a multidisciplinary foot team, and in 2013, 71.8% of trusts had one.</p><p> </p> more like this

He emphasised the importance of moving towards a political process in Yemen and sustained humanitarian access.
