answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/12/2014 answer text <p>Quindell plc is Alternative Investment Market (AIM) listed which is controlled by London Stock Exchange and any enquiry relating to possible market abuse sits within the remit of the Financial Conduct Authority.</p><p> </p><p>The Government’s Insolvency Service has discretionary powers under the Companies Acts to conduct enquiries on behalf of the Secretary of State where it appears that there has been misconduct in relation to the affairs of any company, including those not subject to formal insolvency.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>For the investigation process to be effective it is essential to maintain confidentiality at all stages and there is also a need to protect the commercial interest of companies against the danger of damage from malicious complaints. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/12/2014 answer text <p>The Government is grateful to the Swiss Chairmanship-in-Office of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) for organising this important conference in Berlin, to Germany for hosting it, and to the US for delivering a key note address. We recognise that, ten years on from the last concerted attempt to confront anti-semitism in OSCE member states, the phenomenon may be getting worse in several countries. The UK acknowledges the scale of the problem and has developed robust, evidence-based policies to combat it. The UK’s success in encouraging more and better reporting of hate crime was recognised by several delegations at the conference.</p><p>We also welcome the conference of civil society groups which took place the previous day, with active participation by a range of UK experts, including the Community Security Trust and members of the Board of Deputies of British Jews. The Minister was accompanied by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office’s Head of Human Rights and Democracy Department; and the Head of the Cross-Government Hate Crime Programme, based in the Ministry of Justice. On 19 November our Deputy Consul General in Jerusalem discussed the attack with Prime Minister Hamdallah.
