answer text
The Government is working in international organisations to develop increased safety standards, including for direct vision, for heavy goods vehicles. The timing of changes will depend on the outcome of that work. It has no plans to introduce a direct vision requirement nationally for existing heavy goods vehicles, given the current information available about the accident reduction potential. Using its devolved powers, London is separately taking forward a scheme to promote direct vision, and similar powers are available for other large cities.

more like this

answer text
The Government pursues a policy of targeted sanctions aimed at maximising the desired political effect while minimising unintended consequences. This includes working with international and domestic partners to protect humanitarian efforts as far as possible from the impact of EU sanctions against Syria, UN sanctions against Iraq, and UN sanctions against Daesh and Al'Qaida. We engage regularly with charities and other implementing partners to minimise the impact of sanctions on these humanitarian efforts, for example through the guidance published on 19 October by Her Majesty's Treasury's Official of Financial Sanctions Implementation. The EU carries out regular reviews of its sanctions and the UN Security Council receives monitoring reports from panels of experts. The UK participates actively in these review processes and reports to Parliament on the EU's regular reviews of its sanctions regimes through the agreed scrutiny process for EU legislation.
more like this

This is the responsibility of each individual NHS organisation.

Good leadership is required at every level of the NHS. They have also made available Commissioning for Quality and Innovation incentive payments to encourage trusts to improve the physical and mental health support provided to their staff.

The Department continues to commission NHS Employers to support the NHS in improving staff health and wellbeing through advice, guidance and good practice including, for example, their online-only How are you feeling NHS? Toolkit which should help staff check their own emotional wellbeing or speak to and support colleagues with theirs.

The Department has not made an assessment of leadership and wellbeing in the police service.
