answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/12/2014 answer text The European Union imposed restrictions on the import into the EU of goods originating in Crimea or Sevastopol as part of a range of measures to give practical effect to its policy of non-recognition of the illegal annexation of these territories to the Russian Federation. This is a targeted action which forms part of the EU’s wider package of measures imposed as a result of actions that have undermined the independence and integrity of Ukraine. On 17 November EU Foreign Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to further action. The EU remains ready to reverse its decisions and reengage with Russia when it starts contributing actively and without ambiguities to finding a solution to the Ukrainian crisis. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/12/2014 answer text <p /> <p>I have understood the question to be about the Pension Protection Fund (PPF), which pays compensation to members of eligible pension schemes where the employer is insolvent and the scheme can not afford the PPF level of compensation.</p><p> </p><p>The Board of the PPF is responsible for ensuring that it has sufficient funds to pay compensation.
