<p /> <p>It is not the Government’s intention to deter people from bringing legitimate
claims to the Employment Tribunals, and we do not believe that is the case. The purpose
of introducing fees was to transfer some of the cost of the tribunals from the taxpayer
to those who use them, where they can afford to do so.</p><p> </p><p>The Government
is committed to undertaking a review of Employment Tribunal fees and we will be bringing
forward our plans on the scope and timing of the review in due course.</p>
