answer text <p>RAF flying training is provided through a combination of contractor and internal Ministry of Defence training resources including light aircraft and helicopters, simulators, multi engine aircraft, through to Hawk T2 fast jets. The resource required for all training needs is constantly reviewed in light of changing frontline demands. However, it remains the case, that the flying training pipeline continues to offer sufficient trained aircrew for our current frontline commitments.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Good progress continues to be made in delivering the commitments set out in the Inclusive Transport Strategy. A monitoring and evaluation framework was published on 19 December setting out how the Government will measure the impact that the Strategy is having on the lives of disabled people including those with non-visible disabilities such as dementia and the progress that is being made towards its 2030 goal. The Department will also report annually to Parliament on the delivery of the Inclusive Transport Strategy, with the first such report due in the summer.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Dementia remains a key priority for the Government. We will implement the Government’s Challenge on Dementia 2020, published in February 2015, in full to make sure the lives of those with dementia are transformed by 2020. Working with our partners, we continue to make progress against the ambitions set out in the March 2016 Implementation Plan which details how the commitments in the Challenge, across the four core themes of risk reduction, health and care, awareness and social action, and research will be met.</p><p> </p><p>The Challenge committed to over half of the population of people in England living in areas that have been recognised as dementia friendly communities in line with the guidance developed by Alzheimer’s Society. Working with our partners, we are making great strides in establishing dementia friendly communities. So far 346 areas in England have signed up to become dementia friendly communities.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Venezuelan health system has collapsed, formerly controlled preventable diseases need to be controlled and this is leading to further outbreaks within neighbouring countries.</p><p> </p><p>The UK has stepped up and has announced an emergency aid package of £6.5 million to respond to the most severe health needs by providing immunisations against deadly diseases, supporting emergency rooms and ensuring that people who are fleeing their homes have access to crucial support, including through the provision of mobile health clinics.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, DFID has deployed two humanitarian advisors to the region and funded seven additional roles within UN agencies to help respond to the crisis. We provide significant core funding to the UN, Red Cross movement and other international actors to alleviate the worsening humanitarian situation.
