answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/11/2018 answer text <p>The latest figures reported by the ONS show that:</p><p>1: The value of UK exports of goods and services to countries outside the EU was £86.6bn and £86.1bn in Q1 2018 and Q2 of 2018 respectively. There has been an increase of 3.7% in UK exports to non-EU countries in the year to June 2018, compared to the previous 12 months.</p><p>The 3.7% growth in non-EU exports in the year to June 2018 was driven mainly by goods, which increased by £7.0bn (4.2%) over this period. Services exports also increased by £5.4bn (3.3%) in the year to June 2018.</p><p> </p><p>2: The value of UK imports of goods and services from EU countries was £86.4bn and £88.9bn in Q1 2018 and Q2 of 2018 respectively. There has been an increase of 4.9% in UK imports from the EU in the year to June 2018, compared to the previous 12 months.</p><p>The 4.9% growth in imports from the EU in the year to June 2018 was driven mainly by goods, which increased by £12.3bn (4.9%) over this period. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2018 answer text <p>This Government wants to continue to support veterans and to do more, which is why on 14 November 2018 we published the Strategy for our Veterans (Cm 9726) and supporting UK Government Consultation Paper (Cm 9727) that outlines what we aim to do and consults on how we will achieve it. The full documents can be found at the following link:</p><p><strong>https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/strategy-for-our-veterans. </strong></p><p> </p><p>By 2028 we will be doing more to ensure that each veteran is valued, contributing and supported. One of our aims is that all veterans enjoy a state of positive physical and mental health and wellbeing, enabling them to contribute to wider aspects of society. In order to achieve this outcome, we will focus our efforts on enabling consistency of medical outcomes for veterans, through a smooth transition of provision from in-Service to post-Service and sharing effective practices amongst clinical and healthcare communities; providing bespoke treatment for those veterans who have bespoke needs because of their service, and targeting any identified health and wellbeing needs of veterans in comparison to the general population.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Veterans’ health is broadly aligned with that of the rest of the general population and most veterans’ health requirements are sufficiently met by existing NHS provision. However, several tailored initiatives are already in place to cater for specific veteran needs, including priority access to NHS secondary care in England, Scotland and Wales for Service related conditions, subject to the clinical need of all patients. The report, which is attached, can be found here: https://www.ofcom.org.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0021/121683/diversity-in-TV-2018-report.PDF</p><p> </p><p>Now in its second year, the report makes clear that broadcasters still have much work to do to make their workforces more representative and reduce data gaps so a more accurate picture can be built. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>The Office for Budget Responsibility is independent of Ministers and any views published are their own.</p><p>Since November 2016, the OBR has not assumed any one particular outcome to EU exit negotiations but has based its forecasts on broad-brush assumptions regarding Brexit that are consistent with a range of possible outcomes, as well as judgements about the economy following the referendum.</p><p>In its October 2018 forecast, the OBR have included a two-year transition period. After this they assume leaving the EU will reduce trade intensity which affects both imports and exports with a broadly offsetting impact on net trade. In its latest forecast, the OBR also revised down its forecast for world trade growth, contributing to a downward revision in UK export market growth in the near term.
