answer text <p>The Department’s consultancy spend is published in BEIS Annual Reporting Accounts within ‘Legal, professional and consultancy’ costs and can be found in table 4.1 <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/beis-annual-report-and-accounts-2020-to-2021" target="_blank">here</a>. A more detailed breakdown of consultancy costs can be found in the Accountability Report on page 82.</p><p> </p><p>Spend relating to financial year 2021-22 will be published later this year. BEIS Annual Report &amp; Accounts are laid in Parliament once they have been certified by the Comptroller &amp; Auditor General (C&amp;AG).</p><p> </p><p>All consultancy costs with details of the provider are published on gov.uk <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/beis-spending-over-25000" target="_blank">here</a>. answer text <p>The 21-22 Annual Report &amp; Accounts figures are subject to audit and expected to be published in early November. We are unable to provide data on consultancy spend prior to the conclusion of the audit.</p><p>The 20-21 consultancy spend as per DCMS 20-21 published accounts (page 135) was £16.6m. The listing for the £16.6m is set out below and is net of a credit of £1.914m on reversed expenditure.</p><p>The 19-20 consultancy spend as per DCMS 19-20 published accounts (page 135) was £3.9m.
