answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2018 answer text <p>Since Personal Independence Payment (PIP) was introduced 43,230 decisions have been made for people who have a primary disabling condition of visual disease up to June 2018. 10,960 people did not receive an award following their initial PIP assessment, 570 of these decisions were changed at mandatory reconsideration and 1,100 were overturned at tribunal.</p><p> </p><p>Detailed breakdowns by financial year can be found below. Claimants may often have multiple disabling conditions upon which the decision is based but only the primary condition is shown in these statistics. We believe people should get the support they need whatever their health condition or disability, whether that’s from their employer, from the health system or from the welfare system.</p><p> </p><p>We have invested in our Personal Support Package, which includes £330 million of funding over four years with a range of new interventions and initiatives designed to provide support that is tailored to the individual needs of claimants. We have recruited 300 additional Disability Employment Advisers and we are introducing 200 new Community Partners, bringing specialist advice and support into the Jobcentre.</p><p> </p><p>We are supporting employers to help them recruit and retain disabled people and people with health conditions through Disability Confident, the Access to Work scheme, and specialist advisers in Jobcentres.</p><p> </p><p>The number of working age disabled people in employment in the UK reached around 3.9 million in Q3 2018. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/09/2018 answer text <p>Following the successful pilot of the Landlord Portal Service, DWP is enrolling more landlords in stages, in tandem with the expansion of Universal Credit Full Service. Priority has been placed on enrolling the largest landlords that are eligible where possible in order to maximise the number of Universal Credit claimants that can be handled via the portal. By December 2018 we will have covered 90% of social tenancies on the portal, and we are looking at how best to complete rollout for small landlords.</p><p> </p><p>Representatives from all the organisations listed have been invited to Universal Credit Full Service events, jointly hosted by DWP and Glasgow City Council, with the vast majority attending. Those that have not attended have had follow up calls or visits and will be invited to future events.
