The Government is clear that no one in this country should have to endure racism and we are committed to building a fairer Britain and taking the action needed to address disparities wherever they exist. It is not an official declaration. The Government produced a report of progress on implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action which was published at the time of the anniversary.</p><p>ILGA World is an independent worldwide federation of more than 1,600 organisations. Therefore, its views do not represent this Government. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/04/2021 answer text <p>Under the Equality Act 2010 employers have a legal responsibility to take all reasonable steps to protect their employees against workplace sexual harassment. The Government expects employers to take these responsibilities seriously. If they fail, employees can seek advice from Acas and, if necessary, take legal action in an Employment Tribunal.</p><p>Last year the Equality and Human Rights Commission, with the Government’s support, published guidance on harassment and sexual harassment at work.</p><p>In addition, the Government has consulted on sexual harassment in the workplace, focusing on whether the laws to protect people from harassment at work are operating effectively.
