The main local alternatives considered are described in the Environmental Statement published in November 2013. These can be found in section 2.6 in each of the Volume 2 Community Forum area reports. Funding totalled £1.379m. We do not hold a record of how the funding was split across each year.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In July 2011, City of York was awarded £4.645m revenue and capital funding through the Local Sustainable Transport Fund. The table below shows each year’s allocation for City of York. The funding supported a package of sustainable transport interventions called ‘i-Travel York’ which included cycling projects. The subsequent consultation allowed the public to comment on its content and issues contained in the responses received were included in the report by Parliament’s Independent Assessor, which was laid in the House of Commons on 9 April 2014. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/03/2015 answer text <p>I am aware that my Rt Hon Friend the Chief Secretary to the Treasury recently wrote to the five largest UK bus operators seeking their assurance that they are doing all they can to ensure passengers benefit from the fall in oil prices.</p><p> </p><p>The bus market outside London is deregulated, with the vast majority of services provided on a commercial basis by private sector bus operators. Decisions on the level of fares are a commercial matter for individual bus operators.</p><p> </p><p>As fuel costs are such a small proportion of the cost of providing rail services we would not expect to see a strong relationship between the two. Some £10 million was devolved to authorities for the period January to March 2014, and some further £39 million to cover April 2014 to March 2015. An additional payment will be made in April 2015 to cover the period up to March 2016; this amount is still being finalised.
