This data can be found at Asy_04 of the published Immigration Statistics:</p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/immigration-statistics-year-ending-september-2021/list-of-tables#asylum-and-resettlement</p><p>We are investing in a programme of transformation and business improvement initiatives that will speed up and simplify our processes, reduce the time people spend in the asylum system and decrease the number of people who are awaiting an interview or decision. These initiatives include conducting shorter, more focused interviews or omitting interviews where it is appropriate to do so, streamlining decision templates for grants and refusals and focusing on improving quality to ensure decisions are right first time. We have extensive recruitment and training plans in place, including career progression options that will aid the retention of staff.</p><p>We are continuing to develop existing and new technology to help build on recent improvements such as digital interviewing and move away from a paper-based system. We are streamlining and digitising the case working process to enable more effective workflow, appointment booking and decision-making. Due to the success of the evacuation in unprecedented circumstances, there are around 6,500 people in the UK who have been brought to safety during and after the evacuation who are eligible for the ACRS. We’re considering how we use MPs correspondence to inform the referral process, as set out in the Oral statement.</p><p>There will not be an application process for the ACRS. This evidence informed our Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy, which we published in July 2021, and will later inform the forthcoming publication of a complementary Domestic Abuse Strategy, in the coming months. We are committing to radically changing how we end violence against women and girls with a whole system approach focusing on: prioritising prevention, supporting survivors, pursuing perpetrators, underpinned by a stronger system.</p><p> </p><p>Among the many commitments in that Strategy, NHS England and NHS Improvement committed to undertake a communications campaign to raise awareness of the support available to victims and survivors through Sexual Assault Referral Centres. Where appropriate, NHS 111 call handlers are trained to signpost people to their local Sexual Assault Referral Centre. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/03/2020 answer text <p>On 6 March 2020, the Home Office announced a further £8 million of funding to help vulnerable EU citizens apply to the EU Settlement Scheme. There have already been more than 3.2 million applications to the EU Settle-ment Scheme and nearly 2.9 million granted status, with over a year left to go.</p><p>Last year, the Home Office awarded £9 million funding to 57 charities across the UK who have helped hundreds of thousands of vulnerable people already. The further £8 million of funding for the 2020-2021 financial year will ensure important information continues to get through to those hardest to reach.</p><p>The 57 charities currently funded by the Home Office will have their funding extended until the end of June 2020, to allow their work to continue during the bidding process for new funding.Successful organisations will be fully supported by the Home Office and will be able to speak to caseworkers directly to discuss individual cases.</p><p>As with all government funding, there will be a competitive bidding process to ensure the right support is provided to all parts of the UK and makes best use of public money.</p><p>The bid process will begin shortly and more details will be announced in due course.The EU Settlement Scheme was launched in March 2019 and gives EU citizens and their family members the status they need to live and work in the UK after 30 June 2021.</p><p>There is a wide range of support available online, over the phone and in person to help them apply.This includes a helpline open 7 days a week where 250 staff based in Liver-pool answer questions and help people apply.
