answer text <p>The department with overall responsibility for victim support is the Ministry of Justice. The Home Office and other departments provide funding for specific services. This is part of the government’s commitment that all victims of abuse have access to the support they require.<br><br>The Government has ring-fenced nearly £40 million of funding up to 2015 for specialist local support services and national helplines. The Home Office contribution is £28 million over the spending review period, and of this £1.72 million is provided per year to part-fund 87 Independent Sexual Violence Advisors, and £150,000 on their training. A further £400,000 per year is spent on funding 13 Young Persons Advocates to provide direct support to young women who have been victims, or are at risk of sexual violence from gangs.<br><br>These roles provide support to victims of abuse, including signposting further specialist support including therapeutic counselling. The proportions allocated to different types of support, and to victims who are now adults and whose abuse occurred in their childhood, is a local decision. The Home Office does not collate figures on this.<br><br>This support is in addition to the funding allocated from the Ministry of Justice Rape Support Fund to rape support centres, Department of Health support to Sexual Assault Referral Centres and Child &amp; Adolescent Mental Health Services, and Department for Education’s support for counselling via their Innovation Fund.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

answer text <p> </p><p>The information requested is shown in the following table:</p><p><br></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The volume and value of duplicate supplier payments identified since the 2010-11 Financial year up to June 2014 is 54 payments for a total value of £2,495,793.63. We have recovered 53 payments totalling £2,494,661.63; the remaining payment was partially recovered and the company went into liquidation with the balance outstanding.<br><br>In the last two financial years the proportion of duplicate payments recovered by value was:<br>2013-14: 100%<br>2012-13: 99.53% (amount outstanding is for a company that went into liquidation after partial payment).<br><br>The volume and value of duplicate payments since 2010 have decreased significantly compared to the financial years prior to 2010-11.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Home Secretary has appointed Peter Wanless - the Chief Executive of NSPCC, and Richard Whittam QC to undertake a review of the investigation commissioned by the Permanent Secretary in response to allegations raised about the handling of information from Geoffrey Dickens by the Home Office. Terms of reference of this review were placed in the House Library on 7 July and make clear that the review will consider the information that was available to the investigator, as well as any further information they feel is relevant. answer text <p> </p><p>Since March 2014 fewer than five individuals have been deprived of their <br>British citizenship.<br>The grounds for the deprivation orders made during this period were either that:<br>• The Secretary of State was satisfied that such deprivation was conducive to <br>the public good and the person would not be made stateless as a result, or;<br>• the individual obtained their British citizenship by means of fraud, false <br>representation or concealment of material fact.<br><br>Due to the small number of cases involved, revealing the other nationalities of <br>the individuals deprived may make it possible to determine their identity and <br>so this detail will not be released. <br>This information has been provided from local management information and is not <br>a national statistic. Member to the reply given on 19 June 2014, Official Report, columns 666-667W. <br>Following two linked international investigations into the boylover.net <br>website, information was provided to the Child Exploitation and Online <br>Protection Centre (CEOP) by US authorities and Europol that related to UK-based <br>registered users. CEOP was, at that time, an affiliate of the Serious Organised <br>Crime Agency. We do not maintain a record of the number of UK-registered users <br>of the website identified by United States or Dutch authorities, nor of what <br>proportion of those users were passed to CEOP. However, as a consequence of the <br>information provided and through CEOP's own investigations, 240 intelligence <br>packages were prepared and subsequently disseminated to police forces across <br>the UK. Further information regarding charges, convictions and open <br>investigations is handled at a local level by the relevant police force and <br>is not recorded nationally.</p><p> </p>

answer text <p> </p><p>Operation Rescue was an investigation into a website that promoted the distribution of Indecent Images of Children. From 2007 to 2011, 240 intelligence packages were disseminated by the SOCA affiliated Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre (CEOP) to Police Forces across the UK. <br><br>At the end of the intelligence dissemination phase of the operation in 2011 CEOP had been notified of 121 arrests; of these 33 individuals were convicted and 7 cautioned. <br><br>Further information regarding charges, convictions and open investigations is handled at a local level by the relevant police force and is not recorded centrally.</p><p> </p> more like this
