answer text <p>The United Kingdom Government is working closely with the Northern Ireland Executive and the other devolved administrations to support their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Engagement at Ministerial level between the Government and the Northern Ireland Executive has occurred weekly over the course of the pandemic. answer text <p>Counsellor and psychotherapists who are eligible for a vaccine because of their age or other clinical factors, such as underlying health conditions, will have access to a vaccine in the first phase. Phase two of the COVID-19 vaccine programme will cover all adults under 50 years old not already included in phase one. Prioritisation for phase two has not yet been decided, but interim advice has been published by the JVCI recommending an age-based approach which the Government has accepted in principle.</p> more like this

answer text <p>On 24 February 2021, the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) published a clarification of their advice on vaccinating people with a learning disability. They confirmed their view that priority should be given to those with a severe and profound learning disability and supported a practical approach of inviting everyone on the general practice Learning Disability Register for vaccination in cohort six.</p><p>The JCVI also supported the planned approach to work with local authorities to identify those in residential and nursing care and those who required support, for example as part of assisted living in the community and those in shared accommodation with multiple occupancy, to ensure this population could be offered vaccination.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We understand the need for young people to be accompanied by their parents and caregivers at appointments and recommend that patients be accompanied where appropriate and necessary. The current guidance, published on 13 October 2020, allows visiting in outpatient and diagnostic settings in a COVID-19 secure way. This guidance was developed by NHS England and NHS Improvement’s clinical cell, overseen by a multidisciplinary group including colleagues from children and young people’s teams.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department has consulted on how the policy on calorie labelling for food and drink served outside of the home by large out-of-home sector businesses, with 250 or more employees, should be enforced and is considering what the final enforcement position should be. answer text <p>Lateral flow devices are currently deployed in supervised settings by trained staff involved in processing tests using the devices and reading the results. Once the approvals and technology are in place, we can allow tests to be taken home from the workplace or school and ultimately for tests delivered to the home or collected locally.</p> more like this
