A summary report of the consultation was published by the Department on 12 July 2013 and copies have already been placed in the Library.</p><p> </p><p>In 2013 the Department held a series of meetings with representatives of tobacco companies and the wider tobacco manufacturing industry to further inform the development of the impact assessment for standardised packaging of tobacco products.</p><p> </p><p>The Government will hold a final, short consultation on standardised packaging of tobacco products.
