answer text
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office is committed to ensuring that clear and accessible information is available for UK nationals living, working and travelling overseas, including in the EU. Our Embassies engage regularly with British citizens living in their host Member States. Particularly since the EU Referendum, we have been reaching out to UK nationals in the EU at frequent meetings, events and online. We are encouraging UK nationals to follow the ‘UK nationals in the EU’ page on www.gov.uk and to follow Embassy social media channels for the latest information on the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. We are also planning for a further EU-wide public communications campaign for UK nationals in the EU when the practical implications of the Withdrawal Agreement have been finalised.
more like this

Detainees continue to be monitored carefully on medical grounds. On 17 October, a Pentagon Spokesperson said that the practice of permitting the involuntary feeding of hunger-striking detainees in Guantanamo Bay will continue, if US medical officials decide that artificial feeding is required to prevent death or serious self-harm.

The Government believes that mentally competent adults are entitled to take decisions to hunger strike.
more like this

answer text
The UK takes its arms export responsibilities very seriously and operates one of the most robust arms export control regimes in the world. We do not licence the supply of equipment that would be in breach of an arms embargo, which would provoke or prolong armed conflicts, or aggravate existing tensions or conflicts, or if there is a clear risk that the items might be used for internal repression.

The British Government has not authorised the supply of arms to South Sudan. We have consistently called for a UN arms embargo to be implemented with immediate effect. Such an embargo would prevent any sale of arms to South Sudan globally.
more like this
