They have been responsible for more than twenty incidents, including the murder of up to twelve villagers in late May 2018. British officials have discussed the deteriorating security situation in Cabo Delgado province with both our international partners and the Mozambican authorities. He underlined the need for swift implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding Burma signed with the United Nations on 7 June, to allow UNHCR and UNDP access to northern Rakhine to support the creation of conditions to allow the safe, voluntary and dignified return of refugees.
