answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/09/2020 answer text <p>Iran's non-compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA) raises serious proliferation concerns, which is why the UK, with France and Germany, triggered the JCPoA's Dispute Resolution Mechanism on 14 January in good faith and in hope of finding a diplomatic way forward, preserving the agreement and bringing Iran back to full compliance with its commitments under the JCPoA. The UK Government remains committed to standing up for human rights, including through the UN. We strongly support the Treaty Body System as an essential tool to support the protection and promotion of human rights, and we are committed to developing the system's effectiveness. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/09/2020 answer text <p>We are concerned that some governments are failing to comply with their human rights obligations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through our international engagement, including at the UN, we will continue to make clear that measures taken by States to tackle COVID-19 must be necessary, proportionate, time-bound, transparent and regularly reviewed.</p><p>The UN's human rights work has continued throughout the pandemic, and the UK has maintained its strong support for the UN human rights system. We welcomed the Human Rights Council President's Statement on the implications of Covid-19 on human rights, and the Secretary General's report on how human rights should guide the Covid-19 response. As Lord (Tariq) Ahmad of Wimbledon said in our closing statements to both the 43rd and 44th sessions of the Human Rights Council, we are grateful to the Human Rights Council President, and the Human Rights Council Secretariat, for their hard work and creativity in allowing the Human Rights Council to resume its work in a hybrid format. Lord Ahmad raised the case with the Bahraini Ambassador to the UK on 14 July and we will continue to take suitable opportunities to raise our concerns at a senior level with the Bahraini Government. All staff must complete mandatory online unconscious bias training once every three years. There are three ways the FCO supports staff in this learning: by direct access to the Civil Service Learning (CSL) website, by accessing CSL via the FCO's internal learning system, Global Learning Opportunities (GLO), or by attending courses delivered overseas by learning specialists and learning champions.</p><p>The FCO is only able to access records for staff who have accessed the CSL unconscious bias training offer via the second of these routes, i.e. via GLO. Over the last five years, a total of 2,896 FCO staff accessed CSL unconscious bias training in this way. The FCO can provide an annual breakdown for 2019 and 2020, but not for 2016-18.
