<p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has commissioned research
into cyber security roles in the UK Labour Market, which includes private organisations,
charities and public sector organisations of a variety of sizes and sectors.</p><p>
</p><p>The research is focused on identifying what are cyber security skills, who
works in cyber security roles (size of cyber security teams, level of seniority, skills
set of the individuals), what are the current skills available and what are the current
skills gaps in the market.</p><p> </p><p>Once complete, we expect to publish this
research and its recommendations which will then feed into our strategic development
of cyber security skills interventions going forward. This is in line with the government’s
commitment to ensuring the UK has a sustainable pipeline of cyber security talent.</p><p>
