answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/03/2019 answer text <p>The fantastic performances at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, the UEFA Women’s Euros, World Athletics Championships, Women’s Rugby World Cup and the Commonwealth Games among others, have been truly inspirational. It is vital we build on these successes at the grassroots and elite levels.</p><p> </p><p>This government supports some fantastic initiatives that encourage women to take up sport and physical activity at the grassroots level. For example Sport England’s This Girl Can campaign which promotes team sports such as rugby, basketball and goalball. Sport England have also committed around £85 million into the England talent system and currently fund England Talent Pathways in 43 sports (including team sports). answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/03/2019 answer text <p>The Government has been clear that tech companies need to act more quickly to remove terrorist content online and ultimately prevent new content being made available to users in the first place. There can be no safe spaces for terrorists to promote and share their extreme views. We are working closely with industry, including through the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism, to encourage them to increase the use of technology to automate the detection and removal of content where possible.</p><p> </p><p>The forthcoming Online Harms White Paper will set out a range of legislative and non-legislative measures detailing how we will tackle online harms and setting clear responsibilities for tech companies to keep people safe online.</p><p>Decisions on broadcasting regulation are a matter for Ofcom, whose Broadcasting Code sets strong standards for material broadcast on television and radio around harmful and offensive material, incitement of crime, disorder, and hatred or abuse. The press is subject to independent self-regulation, primarily through IPSO and Impress. This is the end of our LFFN funding window from HM Treasury. We are not aware of any plans to revise this Directive at this point. The UK is subject to EU law whilst it remains a Member State of the European Union.</p><p> </p><p>During the implementation period agreed as part of the Withdrawal Agreement, the UK will no longer be a Member State yet to give businesses and citizens certainty, common rules will remain in place until the end of the period meaning businesses will be able to trade on the same terms as now up until the end of 2020. Their recent report, The Impact of Creative Europe in the UK, concludes that the UK receives an average of €18.4 million a year and we understand that participants enjoy additional benefits such as networking and partnership opportunities.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The next generation of EU programmes are due to begin in 2021, and are currently under negotiation in the EU. The UK is exploring continued participation in EU programmes where it is in the EU and UK's mutual interest.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The Political Declaration Setting out the Framework for the Future Relationship between the EU and the UK sets out (at paragraph 11) that the UK and EU will establish general principles, terms and conditions for the UK’s participation in Union programmes and that these should include a fair and appropriate financial contribution.
