answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/10/2017 answer text <p>On 8 March 2017, Women in Sport published their Beyond 30% report which showed that 65% of the organisations funded by Sport England and/or UK Sport have more than 25% women on their boards. While this is a significant improvement on 2015, when the comparable figure was just 46%, clearly there is more to be done. This is why the Code for Sports Governance published last October requires funded organisations to adopt a target of, and take all appropriate actions to encourage, a minimum of 30% of each gender on its board. The governance code is mandatory for all sports bodies seeking public funding. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/09/2017 answer text <p>The 2012 England and Scotland Health Survey estimated that the problem gambling prevalence rate among adults in England and Scotland was 0.6% which equated to approximately 280,000 people. The latest data available is through the 2015 Health Survey for Great Britain, published on 24 August (NatCen report), which estimated that the problem gambling prevalence rate among adults in Great Britain was 0.8% which equated to approximately 430,000 people. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/09/2017 answer text <p>Government recognises the role played by creative businesses, including media, right across the UK in local economic growth. Government supports this growth via tax credits, regional development programmes, relocation of Arms Length Bodies associated with the sector, rebasing of public sector broadcasters and putting ‘place’ at the heart of the Industrial Strategy. We are actively considering moving Channel 4 out of London</p><p> </p><p>Whilst London remains a hub for media jobs, official estimates also demonstrate impressive growth in different geographical regions around the UK. For example, growth of Yorkshire &amp; Humber’s film and TV industries has outstripped that of every other part of the UK, increasing by 40 per cent in the last year.</p><p> </p><p>In sports , DCMS has created a Sports Business Council will act as a forum for the sport and physical activity sector to work with Government to identify and take action to ensure the sector continues to grow and prosper. The Council will give due regard to devolved, regional and local areas and the impact of actions agreed by the Council on these areas.</p><p> </p><p>Sport England invests significant National Lottery and Exchequer funding across England. Of the £962m it invested across England over the 2012-2017 period, approximately £704m was invested in the non-London regions. In addition to its existing grant funding regime, as part of its Towards an Active Nation strategy (May 2016) Sport England announced that approximately £130m would be spent across 4 years on delivering around 10 place-based pilots.
