I have also met representatives from the football authorities to discuss reform.</p><p>The Government recognises the need for football to be reformed to ensure the game’s sustainability in the long term. Semiconductors are a fundamental enabling technology for electronic devices and the UK holds strengths in critical aspects of the advanced semiconductor supply chain, including semiconductor design.</p><p>The Government is reviewing its approach to the UK’s global semiconductor sector, working with industry experts, representative bodies and the wider global community. The forthcoming Semiconductor Strategy will set out how HMG intends to support this vital and strategically important sector. This will build on existing HMG support for innovation and infrastructure such as the Driving the Electronic Revolution challenge and the National Epitaxy Facility amongst others. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/11/2022 answer text <p>The Government is committed to supporting the domestic tourism market, including the city of London, by working towards the objectives set out in the Tourism Recovery Plan (TRP).</p><p>London was a featured city in VisitBritain’s international marketing campaign Welcome to Another Side of Britain. The GREAT-funded campaign ran in the USA and Europe and was designed to encourage the return of international visitors.</p><p>VisitEngland also ran the Escape the Everyday DMO Recovery Marketing Fund. Visit Greenwich was one of the successful DMOs.</p><p>In September, VisitBritain hosted Destination Britain North America, a 3-day trade fair in Washington DC, connecting British suppliers with tourism product buyers and media from the US and Canada. 15 London-based suppliers attended. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/11/2022 answer text <p>According to the independent website <a href="http://www.thinkbroadband.com" target="_blank">www.thinkbroadband.com</a> gigabit broadband coverage in Morley and Outwood is 84.8%, which is above the national average of 71.5%. Over 98.7% of premises in Morley and Outwood have access to Superfast broadband with speeds of at least 30 Mbps, which is also above the national average of 97.3%.</p><p>We are investing £5 billion through Project Gigabit so homes and businesses in hard-to-reach areas that would not otherwise be reached through suppliers’ commercial plans can access gigabit broadband. Morley and Outwood is included in Project Gigabit’s regional procurement for West Yorkshire and parts of North Yorkshire.</p><p>We are making good progress with this procurement, which will launch early next year. We have recently conducted market engagement to assess interest in the area from various suppliers, and identify where government subsidy is required.</p><p>Eligible homes and businesses may also be able to benefit from the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, which provides a subsidy of up to £1,500 for residents and up to £3,500 for businesses towards the cost of installing gigabit-capable broadband. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2022 answer text <p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) recognises the importance of providing timely responses to written parliamentary questions (WPQs) and correspondence. Every effort is made to provide prompt responses to enquiries, and we continually seek opportunities for improvement in these areas; doing so in regular collaboration with other departments across Whitehall to share best practice.</p><p>DCMS has access to regular training led by the Parliamentary Capability Team through the Government Campus. DCMS also runs regular training sessions within the department on WPQs and correspondence to further improve the quality and timeliness of our responses.</p><p>Between July 2021 and July 2022, DCMS answered 88% of House of Commons WPQs on time, meaning on the named day or within five working days for ordinary WPQs. In the same period, DCMS answered 67% of ministerial correspondence cases within 20 working days. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/11/2022 answer text <p>Lilleshall National Sports Centre provides opportunities for elite and talent pathway athletes as part of National Governing Body (NGB) programmes. The centre is part of the national Elite Training Centre network of facilities which also provide support through the English Institute of Sport (EIS) athlete rehabilitation programmes. These activities are provided alongside opportunities for local people and community organisations/clubs to take part in a range of activities.</p><p>UK Sport, Sport England, EIS and stakeholders including British Gymnastics, GB Archery and the Royal British Legion Battleback programme collaborate and combine to provide a range of activities on site.</p><p>An element of commercial activity such as conferences take place at Lilleshall and this helps to underpin the financial viability of the site and enables the provision of sporting activity. There are no plans for this to change.</p><p>The centre has benefitted from investment over recent years, including state of the art gymnastics facilities, renovation of the Lilleshall Main House listed building, new hockey pitches and office accommodation for NGB’s. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/11/2022 answer text <p>Project Gigabit was launched in March 2021 and its spend for the financial year 2021-22 will be reported through DCMS’s Annual Report and Accounts, which will be published in due course.</p><p>In April 2022, Building Digital UK (BDUK) became an Executive Agency of DCMS, and will publish its own Annual Report and Accounts, including details of Project Gigabit spend, from next year.</p><p>BDUK also publishes quarterly updates on the Project Gigabit Delivery plan and procurement pipeline, with the most recent <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/project-gigabit-delivery-plan-summer-update-2022" target="_blank">Summer Update</a> published in August 2022.</p><p>We are making good progress with the Project Gigabit procurement covering Devon and Somerset, which is currently estimated to cover around 150,000 premises. The procurement is expected to launch next year, and we have recently launched a Public Review to help identify the premises that are in scope for the procurement.</p><p>Residents and businesses in Devon have made excellent use of the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme, which provides microgrants towards the cost of installing gigabit-capable broadband. To date, more than 1,600 premises in Devon have claimed and received payment for a voucher through the scheme, with almost 250 further premises awaiting completion, for a combined total of almost £3.5 million.</p><p>Alongside Project Gigabit, we are still supporting delivery of gigabit-capable connections to more than over 50,000 premises through our earlier superfast contracts in Devon and Somerset.
