This strategy will ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to online media literacy education and awareness for children, young people and adults.</p><p> </p><p>Government is already working with trusted partners to raise awareness of the range of advice on offer to help parents. This includes guidance from many organisations such as Parent Info, Internet Matters, and the UK Safer Internet Centre. One of the proposals put forward by the industry is the creation of Tourism Action Zones in order to take a targeted and focused approach to tackle issues, such as improving productivity and extending the tourism season. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/04/2019 answer text <p>As announced in last year’s loneliness strategy, ‘A connected society - A strategy for tackling loneliness’, and in addition to DCMS’s annual Community Life Survey, the ONS has undertaken further research on childhood loneliness.</p><p> </p><p>The Community Life Survey results for 2017-18, first published in July 2018, showed that 16-34 year olds were more likely to report feeling often or always lonely than those aged over 50. This survey showed that 8% of 16 to 24 year olds feel often or always lonely. In 2018, the Children’s Society found that 11% of 10-15 year olds feel ‘often’ lonely. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/04/2019 answer text <p>The Office for National Statistics report on ‘Children’s and young people’s experiences of loneliness’, published in December 2018, found evidence that children who reported “low” satisfaction with their health said they “often” felt lonely. This study also reported qualitative evidence of the impact of mental ill health on loneliness and individuals ability to overcome loneliness.</p><p> </p><p>ONS’s study also found that young people who reported low life satisfaction, happiness and worthwhile scores and high anxiety scores were more likely to report higher levels of loneliness.</p><p> </p><p>The Children’s Society has found strong links between loneliness and well-being. This includes online services that facilitate the hosting or discovery of user-generated content, and interaction between users. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/04/2019 answer text <p>The Government’s policy is to ensure world-class broadband and mobile connectivity across the UK. We are currently implementing a number of policies to achieve this in rural areas.</p><p> </p><p>£1.8 billion of public money is being invested to support vital improvements in superfast broadband coverage across the UK, including in rural areas. In December 2017, we met our target to extend superfast coverage to 95% of UK premises, and we expect to reach at least 97% by 2020.</p><p> </p><p>DCMS has also put in place legislation to create a new Universal Service Obligation (USO) giving every household and business the right to request a broadband connection of at least 10 Megabits per second (Mbps) by 2020, to ensure access to decent connectivity. Ofcom are now responsible for implementing the USO. Further details, including how to apply are expected to be announced in the summer. In addition, the Better Broadband Scheme provides voucher funding to UK premises that do not have access to affordable broadband service delivering at least 2Mbps.</p><p> </p><p>DEFRA has allocated £75 million of grant funding from the Rural Development Programme for England, targeted at helping to connect businesses with superfast broadband in hard to reach rural areas.</p><p> </p><p>Looking forward, we want to provide world class digital connectivity that is gigabit-capable, reliable, long-lasting and widely available across the UK. We have set ambitious targets - for 15 million premises to be connected to full fibre by 2025, with nationwide coverage by 2033. In the Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review, we set out our long term national strategy to meet these targets, and to ensure that rural and remote areas are not left behind. The government does not maintain an estimate of the number of people that are expected to participate in kickboxing in future years.
