The publication of the Integrated Review in March 2021 affirmed the UK’s increased focus and long-term commitment to the Indo-Pacific.DCMS does not capture spend by region. However, the department’s International Directorate has established a bespoke team to lead our Indo-Pacific and China Strategy and Engagement. This shift in focus and resource has been underway for the past year and has resulted in increased collaboration with key regional partners.
