<p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Department
of Health and Social Care (DHSC) work closely together on matters related to gambling
harm, including on measures and services in place to support problem gamblers. The
government has committed to review the Gambling Act 2005 to ensure it is fit for the
digital age and further details will be announced in due course. In addition, at the
time of the General Election the government committed to developing a strategy on
addictions, including gambling, although this has been delayed as a result of the
COVID-19 pandemic. DCMS and DHSC will continue to work closely together and with wider
government in the delivery of these commitments.</p><p> </p>
