Last week the Charity Commission published ‘Taken on Trust’, a report based on a major research project into trusteeship. The Office for Civil Society worked in partnership with the Commission and sector stakeholders to make this research possible. The findings have highlighted a lack of diversity amongst boards of trustees. The government would now like to see the sector take the lead in further exploring these issues and finding the right solutions.
