Licence fee funding for S4C is guaranteed at £74.5 million until 2021/22 and Exchequer funding is set until the end of the current spending review period in 2019/20. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/02/2018 answer text <p>The commercial radio deregulation consultation closed on 8 May 2017 and the government response was published on 18 December 2017.</p><p> </p><p>The next phase is for DCMS to begin the detailed work to develop the new legislative structure and to bring forward legislation prior to analogue licenses coming up for renewal in 2022. Legislation will be brought forward when Parliamentary time allows.</p><p> </p><p>We took great care to consider how the proposals will affect the nations. For example, due to the feedback we received from stakeholders and respondents on the proposal to allow Ofcom to have the power to set different news (national and local) or other local requirements in the nations, we have decided to not proceed with this. We agree that having such a power may disadvantage local stations in the nations and that a better approach is for Ofcom to have regard to the needs of all UK audiences in setting the requirements on a UK basis. We do not expect the remaining proposals included in the consultation to negatively impact the nations.</p><p> </p><p>The consultation concluded that the current localness requirements set out under s.314 of the Communications Act 2003 are now too onerous and are acting to constrain the commercial radio industry from being able to rationalise their production base. Removing this will allow services to compete more effectively against new online services. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/10/2017 answer text <p>I am delighted that Yr Ysgwrn, the home of Hedd Wyn has recently reopened to the public, thanks to £2,972,500 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to repair and develop the buildings, and following its purchase in 2012 with money from both the Welsh Government and the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF). answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/10/2017 answer text <p>A wide range of projects are receiving funding from Government to commemorate the centenary of the First World War. Government has committed LIBOR funds to support the National Commemorative events delivered by my Department - to commemorate the Gallipoli Campaign, the battles of Jutland, the Somme and Passchendaele, and a variety of events to be delivered in 2018.</p><p> </p><p>Government funding has also been committed to a range of other projects to commemorate the Centenary of the First World War, including £40 million for the First World War Centenary Cathedral repair fund, and £5.3 million of funding from DfE and DCLG for the First World War Battlefield Tour project. There are also many other projects receiving Government support, including a five-year Historic England project to add 2,500 war memorials to the National Heritage List for England, and the School Debates programme.</p><p> </p><p>Since April 2010 the Heritage Lottery Fund has allocated over £90 million to more than 1,800 projects marking the Centenary. This includes grants of more than £15 million to The National Museum of the Royal Navy for HMS Caroline, £16.5 million to Imperial War Museums for the new First World War galleries and 14-18 NOW, and £2.8million to Yr Ysgrwn. This figure also includes £11million awarded to more than 1,300 community projects.
