answer text <p>Thanks to my noble friend's work in this area, and the Chancellor's commitment to use fines paid by banks for good causes, £8 million has been committed from the LIBOR funds to support the Imperial War Museum’s education work over the period 2015-2019. The Museum has allocatedaround£2 million for each year of this period and a total of £1.3m has been invested so far in 2015-2016 on ongoing education work. This includes support to the First World War Centenary learning programme with over 3,500 member organisations from more than 50 different countries including universities, museums, schools, libraries, archives, operas, orchestras and local community organisations.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has improved its compliance and reporting processes, resulting in the recent suspension of six countries for non-compliance and a further six countries placed on its watch-list. Last week, WADA's Foundation Board increased its scope to conduct internal investigations and strengthen its whistleblowing process. WADA President Craig Reedie's statement that values-based education is the best weapon for clean sport is a view shared by UK Anti-Doping and implemented through its successful 100% Me education programme.</p> more like this

answer text <p>I am grateful for Lord Moynihan's valuable contributions to that debate in the House.</p><p>The Minister for Sport has made it clear that a new approach to sport is needed. The Government published a consultation paper on a new sport strategy in early August and the responses received are being considered. The Government will publish its new strategy for sport in due course, the first such strategy for 13 years.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The International Association of Athletics Federation's (IAAF) near unanimous vote to suspend Russian athletes from all competition reflected the worldwide reaction to the Independent Commission's report to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).</p><p>Russia, the IAAF and WADA must now work together, to not only resolve the findings within the report, but to also re-establish the trust of clean athletes and spectators.</p> more like this

answer text <p>he Government is investing £860m in a comprehensive National Cyber Security Programme (NCSP) to protect the UK from cyber attacks, tackle cyber crime and make the UK one of the safest places in the world to do business online.</p><p>Through the NCSP the Government is providing protective advice and guidance, such as the “Ten Steps to Cyber Security”, the Cyber Streetwise campaign, and “Get Safe Online”, and promoting the Cyber Essentials scheme, which sets out the basic technical controls to protect against common cyber attacks. The Government is also building partnerships with industry and sharing cyber threat information, and building law enforcement capabilities to tackle cyber crime, including the National Cyber Crime Unit within the National Crime Agency, and the new network of cyber crime officers within the Metropolitan Police Service and Regional Organised Crime Units.</p><p><br>The Cyber Essentials scheme and Cyber Streetwise campaign are specifically designed to help protect small businesses. In addition, tailored guidance called “What you need to know about cyber security” is available for small businesses, as well as a free online training course for staff in small and medium-sized business.</p>
