We anticipate that, in the vast majority of cases, there will be a charge placed on the property. This means that the recovery process will usually be handled via a solicitor dealing with the sale or transfer rather than directly with the claimant. Where there is insufficient equity to repay in full, claimants will not be pursued for the balance.</p><p> </p><p>Recovery of mortgage interest loans will be the responsibility of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Debt Management who will be putting in place a new and bespoke Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI) Loan Management unit. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/03/2018 answer text <p>Occupational, personal and public service pension schemes are defined in section 1 of the Pension Schemes Act 1993.</p><p> </p><p>A public service pension scheme is an occupational pension scheme established by or under an enactment, the Royal prerogative or a Royal charter, unlike other occupational pension schemes which are set up under trust.</p><p> </p><p>Pension and tax laws may prescribe certain minimum or maximum requirements regarding the benefits that a pension scheme may provide. Beyond that, the type, level and eligibility criteria for benefits due under the scheme are a matter for the sponsoring employer.
