<p>As part of the consultation process, the Government has been engaging widely with ports, businesses and local communities – including events attended by the LEP for Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire - to hear stakeholders’ views on our Freeports proposals. The Freeport consultation is currently open, and I would encourage anyone with an interest in Freeports to submit a response through the gov.uk portal before it closes on 13 July.</p>
